VIRAKO quality control laboratory
7-stage QC · ISO-certified

Quality Without Compromise

Every garment we make passes through a rigorous 7-stage quality control process in our ISO 9001:2015 certified facility — from incoming fabric to pre-dispatch audit. The result: 99.2% first-pass yield and a defect rate below 0.3%.

QC Process

Seven stages of inspection, zero shortcuts

Quality is built in at every step — not bolted on at the end. Each stage is documented, signed off and traceable to the operator and batch.

01

Incoming Material

Every fabric, tape and trim lot is inspected for GSM, color, FR treatment and certification paperwork before entering production.

02

Cutting QC

Pattern dimensions, ply count and cut-edge quality are verified against approved samples on every cutting table.

03

In-Process QC

Roaming inspectors check stitch density, seam alignment, bartack placement and sizing at fixed intervals during assembly.

04

Stitching QC

100% stitched garments are checked for seam integrity, thread tension, skipped stitches and reinforcement completeness.

05

Finishing QC

Pressing, trimming, embroidery alignment, label placement and overall presentation are inspected before packaging.

06

Final Inspection

AQL-based statistical sampling on finished lots — any defect triggers a 100% sort of the affected batch.

07

Pre-Dispatch Audit

Carton counts, labeling, documentation, test certificates and traceability codes are verified before shipment leaves the dock.

In-House Testing Lab

Tests we perform on every batch

Our in-house laboratory validates every production batch against international standards — EN, ANSI, NFPA, EN ISO and BIS. We don't just inspect finished goods; we verify the performance characteristics that matter in the field.

Fabric Tensile Strength

Fabric and seam strength tested to EN ISO 13934-1/-2 standards using constant-rate-of-extension machines.

Color Fastness

Wash, perspiration, rubbing and light fastness verified to ISO 105 series for lasting color integrity.

Flame Resistance

Vertical burn, limited flame spread and arc flash testing per EN ISO 11612, NFPA 2112 and ASTM F1959.

Seam Strength

Seam tensile and slippage tested to EN ISO 13935 to ensure joint integrity under stress.

pH Value & Chemical

Skin-contact pH and chemical penetration testing for medical and chemical protective garments.

Dimensional Stability

Wash shrinkage, stretch recovery and shape retention measured after multiple industrial launderings.
